Pethick brings decades of experience in operations management, business process improvement, and corporate strategy

GAINESVILLE, GA, Wednesday, May 28 -- POWERS has announced its latest hire, Vice President of Sales Justin Pethick, who will begin work immediately, based in the Atlanta area.

In this role, Pethick will focus on developing strong relationships with clients through engagement, education, and analysis. He’ll draw upon a decade of experience in operations management, business process improvement, and corporate strategy, in order to identify where each prospective new client fits into POWERS’ core operational framework.

“With all the expansion and growth we have seen recently, we look forward to Justin’s input in carving out new business development,” POWERS CEO Sean Hart said. “He's a skillful team player who aligns perfectly with the excellent culture we provide for our clients and our company. We are excited to welcome him aboard and to see the successful results he produces.”

Justin Pethick

Pethick has a deep background in technology and process improvement work with Fortune 500 companies like Walmart, Target, and Nike. He previously held a number of business strategy consulting and sales roles for private equity and large financial companies.

Notably, before his career in business, Pethick played professional hockey. He has kept up with the sport by passing the puck for the Texas Titans, a minor league hockey team that donates their proceeds to local charities that benefit veterans.

“Growing up in a hockey locker room since the age of three, you learn about the importance of a team and being a team player. There is a saying that the name on the front of the jersey is way more important than the name on the back,” Pethick said. “I could not be more excited to be joining such a strong team after seeing the culture that POWERS has built internally and for their clients. These are definitely values I've carried into the business world and values I know the POWERS leadership team shares. I cannot wait to get started."

Justin holds an MBA from Cornell University and is currently working on a master’s degree in science and technology from Brown University.
