POWERS

Our manufacturing operations background is substantial. Our approach to management consulting is unique.

POWERS is a results-based, management facilitation firm

The POWERS company was founded over a decade ago, in Atlanta, Georgia by C-level executives with substantial operations, finance, and human resources experience in the manufacturing sector. Our focus is on purposefully aligning an organization’s culture with the skills and behaviors that lead directly to higher productivity and efficiency, sustainable performance improvement, and a healthier bottom line.

Our approach to management consulting is, therefore, unique. We call it, “Operationalizing Your Culture,” and it can be genuinely transformative for your organization’s overall productivity and financial wellbeing. We can help your team achieve the performance metrics that matter the most: increased capacity, improved productivity, significant cost reduction, higher profitability, and more. And we approach our process in a way that engages your workforce, makes the changes sustainable, and delivers a healthy return on your investment.

We start at the top with your company’s goals, then get to work “shoulder-to-shoulder” with your team, in your facilities, to implement the right behaviors and skills to realize these goals. Through honest, open communication, we learn about your leaders, workforce, operation systems, manufacturing processes, and capacity challenges. We are not like typical management or operations consultants. We are facilitators of a continuous improvement process.

Though many on our team are Lean Six Sigma black belts, PMP certified and experienced in lean manufacturing techniques, our methods are swifter and genuinely more scalable, manageable, and cost-effective, with proven ROI. We train your front-line leadership to understand their real strengths and capabilities and create more influential leaders and more effective managers and supervisors. We look at your enterprise holistically, the analytics, KPIs, management systems, disciplines, behaviors, communications, and interactions that allow you to achieve optimum performance.

  • Working closely with front-line leadership

We believe that front-line leaders occupy a critically important and demanding role. We also believe that when managers and supervisors become genuine leaders who feel empowered, they can become the central drivers of business performance improvements and higher achievements. This belief is why our consultants make relationships, communication, and trust-building central to improving manufacturing productivity.

  • Providing easy access to our top leadership

Unlike competing management consulting firms, our team has extensive manufacturing operations and front-line leadership experience. This real-world know-how means that our leadership team is accessible and hands-on. Our approach is to roll up our sleeves and get right to work on meeting your performance goals and operational priorities.

  • Delivering measurable return on investment

We show results in three fundamental ways: annualized savings rate ROI, weekly cash flow, and total project cost. In other words, we don’t get paid for anecdotal advice. We only get paid for delivering measurable results.

  • Making sure improvements are sustainable and real

To translate productivity and efficiency gains into bottom-line value, we align the right tools, controls, and metrics to the right behaviors, skills, and communications—resulting in a sustained, continuous-improvement workplace culture within client organizations.
